My Journey

It all started when I was around 10 years old.

Every evening, my family watched the news on DD National (yes, it’s still around! 😄). I had no idea what the stock market was, but I remember hearing the news anchor say, “Nifty closed up by 10 points” or “down by 12 points.” Strangely, whenever Nifty went up, I felt happy. No logic. Just vibes.

Years later, in 2008, I graduated from IIT and entered the stock market like most beginners do—by buying stocks my office colleagues recommended.

Then came 2009. The market bounced back, my portfolio shot up, and I thought I had cracked the secret to becoming rich. 😎

Spoiler alert: I hadn’t. 🤦‍♂️

Feeling like the next investing genius, I loaded up on penny stocks based on random tips and paid subscription “experts.” The market politely reminded me that confidence and competence are two very different things. 💸

I lost much more than I had made.

By 2010, I quit the stock market completely. No trading. No investing. No charts.

But deep down, one thought stayed with me:

“The market won this round.” 😤

A few years later, I started reading stories about people making money in options trading. Naturally, I thought,

“Why was I wasting time with stocks? Options look much smarter.”

A few YouTube videos later (classic beginner mistake 😅), I was ready.

Or at least, I thought I was.

I traded naked calls and puts, followed TV experts religiously, bought cheap far OTM options because they looked like “great deals,” and averaged down whenever trades went against me.

If you’re wondering whether that ended well…

It didn’t. 🚑

Then I decided the real problem wasn’t my strategy—it was that I wasn’t trading big enough.

That brilliant idea cost me even more money. 💥💸

At that point, my revenge against the market quietly retired.

A few years later, I decided to stop chasing shortcuts and actually learn.

I studied technical analysis properly, reduced my risk to around ₹200 per trade, maintained a trading journal, reviewed every mistake, and focused more on discipline than profits.

Slowly, things changed.

Not because I found a magical indicator. ✨

Not because I discovered a secret strategy. 📚

Because I finally learned to manage myself before trying to manage the market.

Trade by trade, month by month, consistency replaced excitement.

Today, I Options remain my favorite playground – easy to control risk, if you know what you are doing !

My trading is honestly a little boring now—and that’s actually a good thing. 😄

I don’t jump into every new strategy that appears on YouTube.

I don’t chase every market prediction.

Instead, I’ve mastered a small set of strategies that fit my style and repeat them with discipline.

Sometimes I take slightly aggressive trades, but only when the risk is clearly defined and my stop-loss is already decided.

🎯 My Biggest Lesson

The single most learning that the market taught me wasn’t about charts or indicators.

It was about patience.

About discipline.

About accepting losses without letting your ego take over.

Turns out, the hardest thing to control in trading isn’t the market.

It’s the person clicking the Buy button.

If parts of this story sound familiar, you’re not alone.

Most traders don’t lose because they lack intelligence.

They lose because they keep repeating the same mistakes, hoping for different results.

I can’t magically give you discipline.

But I can help you build a process that makes good decisions easier, risk easier to manage, and trading a lot less stressful.

That’s exactly why I built this platform. 🤝
